Care

My main aim is to make your pets feel at home, and ask you to complete a care sheet detailing their usual routine and favourite fruits and veggies. I only take on a small number of boarders at a time, so your pet can be given personal attention.

You are welcome to bring your own bowls, bottles, beds, toys etc, or these can be provided if you wish.

During their stay your pet will be provided with:

  • Fresh fruit and vegetables daily
  • Meadow hay, Timothy hay and dried grass
  • Fresh water, changed daily. Can be provided in a bottle, bowl or both
  • Daily access to outdoor runs, weather permitting. Indoor play area in winter
  • Daily flystrike checks
  • Lots of cuddles and attention

Please bring your pets own dried food. Guinea pigs and rabbits have delicate digestive systems and a sudden change of diet can make them very ill. There are many brands of dried food available and I cannot stock each one.

I can also cater for elderly animals or those on medication. Please discuss this when booking and I will do my best to accommodate you.

If any animal becomes ill whilst boarding, veterinary advice will be sought.

Accommodation

I have a variety of accommodation to suit different needs from hutches to heated bunny cabins with attached runs, ideal for house rabbits who would find the confinement of a hutch stressful. Find out more...
