There is a choice of accommodation to suit your pets needs from hutches to heated cabins. Accommodation is cleaned daily and disinfected weekly and between stays. Litter trays are cleaned daily or more often, as needed.
Hutches
These hutches have been built to my specifications and are larger than usual. They are located indoors, well ventilated in the summer, with gentle heating during the winter months. (Indoor rabbits and guinea pigs should be housed in the cabins during the colder months.)
In line with RSPCA recommendations, rabbits are housed in 5ft x 2ft hutches and guinea pigs are housed in 4ft x 2ft hutches. Hutches can be opened up to make 2 or 3 levels if more space is required.
Litter trays, toys, tubes, bottles and bowls etc are provided for each hutch, or you can bring your own if you prefer. Each hutch has its own box where I will keep your pets food, toys and bowls etc.
For bedding I use megazorb or newspaper covered with a thick layer of hay. Toweling or fleece can also be provided. If you have a preference please state on the care sheet. For the sake of the health of the animals (and my own) I do not use wood shavings.

Bunny Cabin
The cabin is 8ft x 6ft with an attached 6ft x 4ft run (access via a lockable cat flap). There is plenty of room for playing and hopping around, making it ideal for house rabbits who are not used to the confinement of a hutch. It is suitable for large breeds, and groups of rabbits and guinea pigs.
The heater is on night and day during cold weather to keep your bunnies warm. In the summer the door can be left open during the day for plenty of fresh air, and it has an air conditioner for hot weather.
Bunnies are kept safe and secure by welded wire mesh interior doors and windows, and bolted and padlocked outer doors.
Cabin facilities include:
- laminate floor with rugs
- sleeping area
- heating / air con
- lighting
- radio
- toys, tubes, bedding, bottles, bowls, litter trays etc
- attached run
